Célica Cagide

Célica Cagide is a Uruguayan biotechnologist and co-founder of the startup DNAzyme, which focuses on developing skin care products using enzymes derived from Antarctic microorganisms. Her journey in the field began during a 2014 Antarctic campaign with the Faculty of Sciences, where she collaborated with fellow researchers to study organisms that thrive in extreme conditions. With nearly a decade of research experience, Cagide is dedicated to transforming the cosmetics industry through innovative biotechnology.
