Cesaholis

Cesaholis is a Hereditary Chief of the Dzawada’enuxw First Nation, who has been an outspoken advocate for his people's rights and land claims. He testified before a royal commission in 1914 regarding the injustices faced by his community due to settler encroachment, vividly recounting the impact of land loss on traditional practices and the spiritual connection to their ancestral lands.
