César Emilio Peralta Vélez

César Emilio Peralta Vélez was a prominent Dominican politician and former deputy representing Puerto Plata from 1998 to 2002. He was a long-time member of the Partido Revolucionario Dominicano (PRD) and later of the Partido Revolucionario Moderno (PRM). Known for his dedication to public service, he was also a native of Villa Isabela, where he built his political career. He was married to Daris Sánchez, the current Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Women, and was the father of lawyer César Amadeo Peralta.
