César Miguel

César Miguel is a prominent Dominican entrepreneur and art collector, recognized for his dedication to preserving and promoting the legacy of renowned painter José Cestero. He founded the José Cestero Museum in 2019, a private space showcasing his personal collection of Cestero's works, aimed at honoring the artist's contributions to Dominican art and culture. With over 30 years of experience in art collection, Miguel has taken a personal interest in Cestero’s well-being, ensuring he receives appropriate care and support, including a monthly pension and daily assistance. Miguel has publicly defended Cestero against misinterpretations of his living conditions, emphasizing the artist's independence and dignity at the age of 88.
