Chalium Poppy

Chalium Poppy is the director of music at St Peter’s Anglican Church in Mount Maunganui and a dedicated music teacher who provided private lessons in vocals and piano to 10-year-old Austen Richardson, who tragically lost his life in a recent landslide. Poppy described Austen as an inquisitive and curious student, eager to learn and engage with music, and expressed his shock and sorrow upon receiving the news of Austen's passing.
