Chanchai Phongpichitkul

Chanchai Phongpichitkul is a retired Thai police officer who has recently been appointed as the Minister of Justice in Thailand. Born on April 13, 1965, in Buriram, he graduated from the Armed Forces Academies Preparatory School and later from the Royal Police Cadet Academy. He has held various positions within the police force, including Deputy Commander of Provincial Police Region 3 and Police Superintendent of several districts in Buriram. His extensive career in law enforcement culminated in his selection as a non-partisan minister in the current government, marking a significant transition from his previous role in policing to a leadership position in the justice system.
