Chandana Sinha

Inspector Chandana Sinha is a dedicated officer with the Railway Protection Force (RPF) in India, recognized for her exceptional work in rescuing over 1,500 children from trafficking and unsafe situations across the railway network in Uttar Pradesh. In 2024 alone, her efforts led to the interception of 494 children, including 41 trafficked for labor, and she personally rescued 152 of them. Her innovative approach to child rescue earned her the prestigious Ati Vishisht Rail Sewa Puruskar, highlighting the systematic methods she developed to identify and assist vulnerable children in railway stations.
