Chandra Bahadur Thapa

Chandra Bahadur Thapa is the chief traffic police inspector of the Udaypur District Traffic Police Office in Nepal. He has been in the news recently due to his efforts in addressing the rising number of traffic accidents on the Madan Bhandari Highway, particularly the Ramapur–Gai Ghat–Katari section, where 57 fatalities have been reported since the beginning of the fiscal year and over 200 accidents occurred in just ten months. Thapa has advocated for the installation of thermoplastic road markings to help reduce vehicle speed and improve visibility for drivers, aiming to enhance road safety in the area.
