Chandra Barot

Chandra Barot was a veteran Indian filmmaker renowned for directing the iconic 1978 film 'Don,' which became a cult classic in Bollywood. His career began as an assistant director, and he gained recognition for his creative vision and ability to connect emotionally with audiences. Barot's decision to direct 'Don' was a significant moment in his career, not only as a successful project but also as a gesture of support for his close friend, cinematographer-producer Nariman Irani. He passed away at the age of 86 after battling pulmonary fibrosis.
