Charitha Rathwatte

Charitha Rathwatte is a notable Sri Lankan civil servant who played a significant role in the establishment of the National Youth Services Council in the 1980s, providing leadership to ensure it operated effectively for the benefit of the country. He is recognized for his contributions to the public sector, particularly during the economic crisis of 2001 when he served as the Secretary to the Ministry of Finance, taking crucial steps to strengthen the economy.
