Charles Ghezzi

Charles Ghezzi was a Jesuit priest and educator known for his sympathetic and liberal teaching style, which significantly influenced the literary career of James Joyce during Joyce's studies at University College Dublin. Ghezzi’s teachings and character were later immortalized in Joyce's work 'Ulysses', where he is represented through the character Almidano Artifoni.
