Charles Smethurst

Charles Smethurst is a German-British businessman and the founder of Dolphin Trust, later known as the German Property Group (GPG). He was recently convicted of serious fraud and sentenced to nearly seven years in prison for his role in a massive Ponzi scheme that defrauded thousands of investors, resulting in losses exceeding €1 billion.
