Charles Walcott

Charles Walcott was a prominent American paleontologist known for his discovery of the Burgess Shale fossil beds in British Columbia. He collected the first specimen of Mosura fentoni in the early 20th century, although research on this unique radiodont was not published until much later, highlighting the long history of scientific exploration in paleontology.
