Chau Hang Tung

Chau Hang Tung is a prominent pro-democracy activist and former vice-chairwoman of the Hong Kong Alliance in Support of Patriotic Democratic Movements of China (支聯會). She has been an outspoken advocate for human rights and democratic freedoms in Hong Kong, particularly in the context of the city's political climate following the enactment of the National Security Law. Recently, she was involved in a legal case concerning the Alliance's status as a foreign agent, which raised significant concerns regarding freedom of association and political expression.
