Cheikh Ibrahima Youm

Cheikh Ibrahima Youm is a geologist at Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar, Senegal, who studies the unique ecosystem of Lake Retba, also known as Pink Lake. He has contributed to understanding the ecological impacts of flooding on the lake's salinity and the microorganisms responsible for its distinctive pink color.
