Chen Wei-yin

Chen Wei-yin is a retired Taiwanese professional baseball pitcher, known for being the highest-paid Taiwanese player in Major League Baseball (MLB) history. Over his 20-year career, he played in both the MLB and Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB), achieving notable success as a starting pitcher. He debuted in the NPB with the Chunichi Dragons and later made history by becoming the first Taiwan-born player to sign with an MLB team out of the NPB when he joined the Baltimore Orioles.
