Chen Xiangsheng

Chen Xiangsheng is a prominent engineer from the Chinese Academy of Engineering who contributed innovative solutions during the rescue of the stuck tunnel boring machines beneath the Yangtze River. He proposed a unique method involving the injection of grout and subsequent freezing of the surrounding soil to stabilize the area for the successful dismantling of the machines.
