Chen Xiaobo

Chen Xiaobo, born in November 1965 in Zhangshu, Jiangxi Province, is a former Chinese politician known for his extensive career in the Hainan provincial government. He has held various significant positions including Secretary of Dongshan Town, Mayor of Haikou, and Secretary of Wenchang City. Chen served as the Deputy Secretary of the Hainan Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Deputy Director of the Provincial Supervision Commission until his fall from grace in late 2022 due to corruption charges. Recently, he was expelled from the Communist Party and public office for serious violations including accepting bribes, engaging in corrupt practices, and undermining organizational integrity.
