Cherie Currie is a renowned American singer best known as the lead vocalist of the all-girl rock band The Runaways, which she joined at a young age. Starting her solo career in 1978, she released her debut album 'Beauty's Only Skin Deep' and later collaborated with her twin sister Marie Currie in the duo Cherie & Marie Currie, producing the album 'Messin’ with the Boys'.
