Chiang Chien-yu is the director of the Jhongjheng District Household Registration Office in Keelung, Taiwan. He was recently in the news due to his involvement in a forgery probe related to the illegal access of personal data to support a recall campaign against local Democratic Progressive Party councilors. Following questioning by prosecutors, Chiang was released on bail while the investigation continues.
