Chiara Bilić

Chiara Bilić is a prominent Croatian journalist and the newly appointed external member of the Croatian Parliament's Committee for Media. As a vice president of the Croatian Journalists' Society (HND) and head of its Istrian branch, she advocates for transparency in media funding and addresses critical issues facing journalism today, such as censorship and legal pressures. Bilić has been an active journalist since 2018, working with Glas Istre and later co-founding the investigative portal Istra24. Her recent appointment to the parliamentary committee aims to amplify the voice of the journalism profession in discussions about media challenges.
