Chris Maxey

Chris Maxey is the founder and head of school of The Island School, an educational institution that focuses on innovative environmental research and sustainable practices. He is actively involved in community initiatives aimed at conservation, including the recent partnership with Florida Atlantic University’s Harbor Branch Institute to launch a queen conch conservation project in Eleuthera.
