Chris-Shana Gallimore

Chris-Shana Gallimore is a dedicated third-year student at Sam Sharpe Teachers’ College in St James, Jamaica, pursuing a degree in school counselling. At just 19 years old, she has already made significant strides in her education, benefiting from a scholarship linked to the Jill Stewart MoBay City Run (JSMCR), which has enabled her to overcome financial challenges and focus on her studies. Gallimore is passionate about the role of guidance counsellors in promoting mental health and emotional well-being among students. She actively participates in community service by volunteering with the JSMCR planning committee, reflecting her commitment to giving back to her community.
