Chris Suharso

Chris Suharso, also known by his birth name Siauw Swie Ching, is an Indonesian artist renowned for his evocative paintings that often explore themes of resistance and identity. His latest solo exhibition, titled 'Perlawanan Melalui Tatapan', showcases 48 of his works and is curated by Mikke Susanto. The exhibition opened at Art:1 New Museum and will run until February 1, 2026, highlighting Suharso's significant contributions to contemporary Indonesian art.
