Christian Badia

Christian Badia is the Deputy Commander of NATO's Allied Transformation Command based in Norfolk, Virginia. In his role, he is responsible for adapting NATO's planning to current geopolitical challenges. Recently, he has been vocal in advocating for the reinstatement of mandatory military service in Germany, arguing that the current voluntary system is insufficient to meet NATO's capability goals amid rising tensions with Russia.
