Christian Eckmann

Christian Eckmann is a conservator at the Römisch-Germanischen Zentralmuseum (RGZM) in Mainz, Germany, who specializes in the preservation of archaeological artifacts. He collaborated with his wife, Katja Broschat, on the restoration of Tutankhamun's funerary mask, a task that required immense skill and care due to the historical significance of the object and the controversies surrounding its previous restoration.
