Christie Jourdain

Christie Jourdain is the band leader and snare drummer of The Original Pinettes, the first all-female brass band in New Orleans, which formed in 1991. Jourdain has been instrumental in breaking gender barriers within the brass music scene, leading her band to perform at major festivals and events, and inspiring a new generation of female musicians.
