Christina John Richard, known as Tina, was a 22-year-old trailblazing lorry driver from Tanzania who was tragically shot during election-related unrest on October 30, 2023. She gained recognition for her inspiring dedication to her work in a male-dominated field, beginning her journey in mechanics at the age of 17 and becoming a professional driver at 19. Tina was not only a source of inspiration for many young women through her social media presence, but also a devoted mother to her five-year-old son, Isaka. Her life was cut short, leaving behind a grieving family and a legacy of courage and determination.
