Christopher DeSouza

Christopher DeSouza is a professor of integrative physiology and the director of the Integrative Vascular Biology Laboratory at the University of Colorado Boulder. His research focuses on understanding the physiological mechanisms underlying vascular health and disease. Recently, he was in the news for leading a study that revealed potential health risks associated with the natural sweetener erythritol, suggesting it may increase the likelihood of heart attacks and strokes.
