Christopher Ngugi

Christopher Ngugi is a small-scale dairy farmer from Kanguku village in Murang’a County, Kenya, who became a victim of an anthrax outbreak in February 2024. Following the sudden death of his cow, Ngugi faced a challenging decision to slaughter the animal to mitigate financial loss, unaware that it had contracted anthrax.
