Christopher Njora Muronyo

Christopher Njora Muronyo was a prominent figure in the Mau Mau resistance movement against British colonial rule in Kenya, known for his bravery during the 1950s uprising. He lived to the age of 106 but died in poverty, still bearing the physical scars of his fight for independence, including three bullets lodged in his body. Despite his significant contributions, he remained largely unrecognized and forgotten by the Kenyan government, which his family lamented during his recent funeral.
