Christopher O'Grady

Christopher O'Grady, a 33-year-old man from Dundalk, Co Louth, was convicted of raping a Spanish tourist during New Year’s Eve celebrations in Dublin in 2019. The court found that he acted in a predatory manner when he led the victim to a semi-private area where the assault occurred, despite her inability to consent due to intoxication. He has been in custody since the incident and is awaiting sentencing.
