Ciara-Jordyn Woods-Ryan is a spirited three-year-old girl from West Auckland who is currently battling an exceptionally rare form of lung cancer known as pleuropulmonary blastoma. Her parents described her as a joyful child who struggles to understand her illness, often displaying a bubbly personality despite the challenges of her medical treatments. She was given the middle name 'Merekara,' meaning miracle in te reo Māori, reflecting her family's appreciation for her presence after facing fertility challenges. The family is navigating the difficulties of her cancer treatment while balancing care for Ciara-Jordyn and her four older siblings.
