Cipriano Heredia Angulo

Cipriano Heredia Angulo (1917-2010) was a prominent Venezuelan jurist, historian, and educator, known for his significant contributions to law and academia in Venezuela. Born in Guanare, he was actively involved in social and political movements against dictatorship during his youth. He served as a senator and later as a magistrate of the Supreme Court, where he made landmark rulings, including one that abolished military jurisdiction in corruption cases.
