Ciwas Tahos

Ciwas Tahos is a Taiwan-born and based Indigenous artist from the Atayal community, renowned for her body-centered art that explores cultural and gender identity. Her work, which blends new technologies with traditional craftsmanship, delves into themes of displacement and belonging, particularly within the context of queer indigenous experiences. She is making history as the first Taiwanese artist featured at the Hawai’i Triennial 2025, where she showcases her piece 'Pswagi Temahahoi,' reflecting on Atayal legends.
