Clancy is an adventurous 11-year-old fisherman who recently made headlines for catching an impressive 24.6 kg kingfish at Mahia beach. With the help of his grandfather, Clancy engaged in a thrilling 20-minute battle to reel in the fish, which measured around 97 cm in length. Known for his generous spirit, he has been sharing the spoils of his catch with family and friends, making fish pie and ensuring others can experience the deliciousness of kingfish.
