Clara Anyangwe

Clara Anyangwe is a prominent representative of UN Women in Burundi, recognized for her commitment to promoting gender equality and women's empowerment. She has been instrumental in various initiatives aimed at enhancing women's leadership and participation in peacebuilding efforts. In a recent project, she highlighted the significance of empowering women mediators of peace through the establishment of a palm oil extraction unit, which aims to foster economic independence and community cohesion among women in Burundi.
