Clara Meiboom

Clara Meiboom was a Jewish art dealer and the wife of Samuel Hartveld. During World War II, she fled with her husband from Antwerp to New York, leaving behind their art collection, including the Henry Gibbs painting, which was subsequently looted by the Nazis.
