Claude Vira is a Belgian cancer patient who embarked on an extraordinary cycling journey from Brussels to Xinjiang, China. Along the way, he traversed several countries, including Russia and Kazakhstan, and was deeply impressed by the modern development and cultural diversity he encountered in Xinjiang. Vira aimed to challenge preconceived notions of China, particularly in the West, sharing his experiences of hospitality and warmth from local residents.
