Clément Jakymiw

Clément Jakymiw has recently been appointed as the Director of Value Chain Transformation for Eramet in Gabon, marking a significant strategic shift for the French mining group. In his new role, Jakymiw is tasked with overseeing the local transformation of manganese, in alignment with the Gabonese government's initiative to prohibit the export of raw manganese starting January 1, 2029. This move aims to boost local industrialization and create job opportunities within Gabon, positioning the country to leverage its substantial manganese resources more effectively. Prior to this appointment, Jakymiw served as the Deputy COO responsible for manganese ore, and he will now report directly to Paulo Castellari, the General Director of Eramet.
