Cleveland Olmstead Luca was a renowned musician and composer born in 1826 in New Haven, Connecticut. He gained fame as a child piano prodigy and later became the composer of Liberia's national anthem, 'All Hail, Liberia, Hail!', in 1860, after moving to Liberia at the invitation of the country’s president. His family, known as the Luca Family Singers, traveled extensively, performing anti-slavery hymns and classical music, earning acclaim for their exceptional talent and musicianship. Tragically, Luca passed away in 1872, shortly after returning to Liberia.
