Clinton Nyapara Mogesa

Clinton Nyapara Mogesa, a 1997-born Kenyan citizen, was recently reported killed while serving with Russian forces in the Donetsk region. Prior to his military involvement, he had been living and working in Qatar. Mogesa signed a contract with the Russian military and was assigned to an assault unit shortly after completing his initial training. His death has raised concerns about the recruitment of foreign nationals into conflict zones, as he was found with passports belonging to two other Kenyans, prompting Ukrainian Defence Intelligence to issue warnings against foreign citizens seeking employment in Russia.
