COGAT

COGAT, or the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories, is a unit of the Israeli Ministry of Defense responsible for overseeing civil affairs and coordinating humanitarian activities in the Palestinian territories. Recently, COGAT announced the resumption of aerial drops of humanitarian aid in Gaza, including essential supplies like flour, sugar, and canned goods, in response to criticisms regarding the humanitarian situation in the region.
