Colin Barrington Smith

Colin Barrington Smith is the founder of the South Florida Tallawah Mento Band, celebrated for his contributions to the preservation of Jamaica's folk music and culture. A multifaceted artist, Smith began his journey in music and art at a young age, showcasing his talent in painting and music from as early as four years old. Under his leadership, the Tallawah Mento Band has grown into a significant cultural entity, marking its 21st anniversary with plans to participate in the 25th anniversary of the Pan African Historical Theatre Festival in Ghana.
