Congolese armed forces

The Congolese armed forces, known as the FARDC (Forces Armées de la République Démocratique du Congo), are the military forces of the Democratic Republic of Congo. They have been involved in numerous conflicts and are tasked with maintaining security in the country, often facing challenges posed by various armed groups operating in eastern DRC.
