Consolée Nsegimana

Consolée Nsegimana is a young entrepreneur from Kirundo, Burundi, who has successfully navigated the challenges of starting her own sewing workshop. Her inspiring journey was highlighted during the 4th edition of Youth Impulse, an event organized by the Programme d’Autonomisation Economique et d’Emploi des Jeunes (PAEEJ), where she shared her experiences of overcoming initial obstacles and fears associated with taking out loans. Through determination and resilience, she has expanded her business to the point of hiring five young workers, showcasing the potential of Burundian youth to contribute to economic growth despite systemic challenges.
