Constança Cunha e Sá

Constança Cunha e Sá was a prominent Portuguese journalist and television commentator known for her incisive analysis and independent thought. Born in 1956, she was educated in Philosophy at the Universidade Católica de Lisboa. Cunha e Sá began her career at the magazine Sábado before moving to the newspaper O Independente, where she gained recognition for her opinion columns. She later worked at Diário Económico and was a significant figure at TVI as an editor, reporter, and commentator. Throughout her career, she contributed to numerous publications, including PÚBLICO and i, and was known for her sharp intellect and commitment to civic responsibility. Sadly, she passed away at the age of 67 due to lung cancer, prompting tributes from various political figures who celebrated her legacy in Portuguese journalism.
