Constantino de Grecia, born on June 2, 1940, was the last king of Greece, reigning from 1964 until the monarchy's abolition in 1973. He was a prominent figure in the Greek royal family and the elder brother of Queen Sofía of Spain. His reign was marked by political turmoil, including a coup d'état in 1967 that forced him into exile. He lived in various countries before settling in Greece after the restoration of democracy, becoming a well-regarded figure in Greek society until his death in January 2023.
