Crismar Herrera
Crismar Herrera is a Hispanic mother who, along with her two children, was left stranded at San Antonio International Airport in Texas after being released by ICE without any identification or money. They had been detained since January 8 while attending a routine immigration appointment in El Paso. After being held for over a month, she and her children were finally released on February 13, 2023. Despite the challenging circumstances, local police officers assisted them by providing food and helping them board their flight to Las Vegas, where they hope for a better future and education for her children.
