Cristian José Castillo Mercado

Cristian José Castillo Mercado is a Honduran politician and alleged leader of the criminal organization known as Los Castillos, which is implicated in drug trafficking and other serious crimes. He is currently a fugitive from justice, having been linked to various illicit activities, including drug trafficking, arms smuggling, and money laundering. Castillo's leadership reportedly emerged following the death of a previous gang leader, and he has been associated with violent territorial disputes over drug distribution in southern Honduras.
